Our Double Barrel Belly Harness has a belly ring and a top ring for attaching a leash.  The Double Barrel Belly Harness doubles as a walking harness.  The harness is made with heavy duty webbing and hardware.  The Double Barrel Belly Harness has an extra barrel for the following reasons:

The belly ring is positioned more closely to the center of the pet in order for the animal to be centered over the base.  By being centered over the base, the connection from the base to the harness is much shorter therefore limiting the length of the pets travel in case of a sudden stop or accident.

In addition, the extra barrel on the harness supports the pet better in case of a sudden stop or accident.  In case of a sudden stop or accident, being connected at the underneath side of the harness, the force is applied against the skeletal structure of the pet, rather than the soft belly tissue or organs, which would be the case if connected to the top of the harness.

Note: All harnesses adjust up to the tightest adjustment of the next pet size harness.
